Christopher is a financial analyst, entrepreneur, professionally qualified equestrian and amateur eventer. Amongst others he trained as a financial analyst at Global US based fund manager Legg Mason Investors and has been head of Technology and Media Equity Research at Bryan Garnier, a pan-European investment bank and brokerage.
He founded ORACA Independent Equity Research a ground breaking highly independent thinking large-cap secondary comm business and ACF Equity Research, a very high quality independent issuer-pays small and mid-cap research business. He opened his first corporate finance business (Destrier Partners) and is approaching the launch of his first non-financial services business. He believes he is only able to do these things because of the quality of the team he works with at ACF.
For 11 years he broadcasted and wrote regularly in the leading pan-European and international media including Bloomberg Television, BBC Radio 4, the Financial Times.
He studied Biochemistry at Kings followed by Economics at LSE and can conduct business in English and French, speaks German and has basic knowledge of Spanish and Italian.

Joining ACF at its founding Amalia started in financial services in 2007 on the sell-side with ORACA, a large-cap independent equity research business that changed the industry. Before financial services Amalia was a highly successful and rapidly promoted young manager in manufacturing. She has worked closely at board level for over 14 years with SMEs and is currently ACF’s Operations Officer. Amalia is at the heart of driving profitability and developing processes to allow our portfolio of businesses to grow. Amalia is fully bilingual English and Romanian and reads Italian. She is working towards her accountancy ACCA qualification with AAT and has a passion for photography, taking her first formal course in May 2018.
Mike Wort is a life science communications expert and former life sciences CEO (large to start-up). He graduated in microbiology and lectured to science undergraduates in both the UK and Nigeria. He joined the pharmaceutical industry, working in a number of senior sales, marketing and clinical roles for Glaxo, SmithKline and Wellcome in the UK and overseas.
Appointed IR Manager for Wellcome, he helped organise its global roadshow for a £2.4bn secondary offering. He has managed over 20 IPOs and secondary raisings bringing in well in excess of £600m, He has consulted on and conducted M&A and DD in the life science sector and developed disaster recovery programmes for SME companies.
Mike worked with Deutsche Bank to privatise the Bulgarian pharmaceutical industry. As the CEO of Balkanpharma, he led the consolidation of the three key assets into one cohesive unit. Balkanpharma has, through a series of M&A activities, become a significant part of NYSE listed Allergan.
Formerly MD at De Facto Communications, Bell Pottinger’s healthcare offering, he recently retired from Walbrook, the UK’s most successful SME PR/IR agency. In addition, Mike has co-founded a number of life science start-up companies in Europe and the USA.
Baraka (Zee) Zahabian
Baraka (Zee) Zahabian’s sector experience is cross-boundary and cross-border. She specialises in investor relations and new business development and has assisted or worked with over 100 start-ups and scale-ups, she understands the challenges facing small caps. She has an extraordinary portfolio of contacts and there is also no doubt that she is an influencer in the tech space.
Zee’s understanding of the challenges facing start-up and scale-up businesses at various points in the valuation cycle from the 100s of thousands to the 100s of millions is exceptional.
She understands the crowdfunding space as well as wholesale financial services. Zee worked for four different crowdfunding sites before becoming a director of Fundsurfer, a Bristol based investment platform. Prior to joining ACF she worked with boutique investment bank, US Capital Partners, heightening their presence across Europe, San Francisco and New York. She maintains a wide range of mentoring projects.
Her leisure/work cross-over interests include Futurism, VR, Film, Quantum engineering, AI and some relaxation out hacking horses.
Nicole joined ACF early summer 2017 as an Equity Sales person from Millennium Capital Partners LLP where she worked for three years on Corporate Access reporting to a Portfolio Manager who ran one of the largest global Industrials books in Europe. She spent two years selling in the family Jewellery business prior to this after spending five years in sales and operations at Barclays Capital. She has her CFA Institute IMC and a BSc in Management from Royal Holloway, University of London.
Nicole is a professional equestrian and is working towards her coaching qualifications in her own time and runs and cycles. She is a keen and regular volunteer in her community. Nicole speaks English and conversational Mandarin and has some basic Cantonese and French.
Adrian has over 20 years investment research writing, editing and supervisory analysis experience for leading investment banks including Barclays Capital, UBS, BNP Paribas, Jefferies, S&P, Danske Bank, ABN Amro, Lombard Odier and Bear Stearns. He has a deep understanding of his subject. Adrian has executed editing and supervisory analysis for investment banks, brokerages and fund managers. He has up-to-date knowledge of the operational and regulatory framework for international institutional equities markets. Adrian is a materials scientist and has languages.
Anda Maria Onu
Anda has worked as a PA since 2015 and has strong analytical, organisational and planning skills. Anda is used to liaising with senior people and understands the needs of small and medium sized companies, she has also worked with start-ups and scale-ups. Anda graduated in life sciences in Ecology and Environmental Protection in Romania in 2007 and worked in a laboratory carrying out chemical analysis of industrial waste-water. She is passionate about the environment and works as a volunteer for the Sussex Wildlife Trust doing conservation work at the Old Lodge nature reserve and about which she writes an occasional blog. She is a school governor and has been a juror at the Royal Court of Justice and when not doing her part for society, she enjoys dance, horses, swimming, opera and theatre.
